The property is beautifully decorated (great for photos!) and features a stunning 360-degree ocean view. It's very quiet and private. Just note that nights get cold; you'll get to use the wood fireplace. As someone from a warm climate, it was my first time lighting one, but it was easy enough to figure out. Perfect stay overall!

This was a time when my expectations were truly exceeded.  I know Bendigo well and always wanted to stay at this winery .  Its changed hands and boy have they certainly improved it.  Our room opened to green sprawling grass and the view of the vines and clamping tents were sensational.  We had a glass of wine on arrival in the restaurant and sat under the vine covered verandah, fairy lights twinkling, fit pit glowing in the distance.  We could have been back in France.  I lived in the Maiden Gully area for 15 years and truly appreciate it's rural tranquility with the benefit of being only 15 mins from the CBD.   The communications from the group was excellent, providing all the info to enter the property. We printed this out so it was easy to enter the security numbers into door entrances instead of holding the phone.  What a destination to rent out the whole place for a family event.  We will be back, it's now our "Bendigo home"

We absolutely loved our stay here! The place was so beautiful, kangaroos jumping around in the vineyard, the restaurant was so nice to have some local wine before heading off into bendigo (which was easily accessible by uber). The staff were extremely friendly, responsive and helpful with questions about the stay and also on the estate. It was so peaceful, the bed was so comfortable, and the room was spotless making our stay absolutely wonderful. I would definitely come back to stay here and recommend it to anyone wanting a tranquil, wholesome night away.

A Gem in Geelong. When my friend and I were looking for somewhere to stay, we focused on the map and concentrated on properties that were in our preferred area. We certainly weren’t on a gem hunt, but somehow we found the most beautiful, spacious apartment in a heritage building, with a free car park just next door. We entered through beautiful copper doors and then experienced a wonderful 1920’s style elevator that took us up to our apartment and were amazed at the size of it, because the photos just don’t do it justice. Everything was perfect, and in closing I just have to mention the beds. I’ve never really thought about the idea of hibernating somewhere for a holiday, but after sleeping in one of the beds on the first night, this might just be something that I might add to my bucket list….. especially during a cold, wet winter. And I can honestly say that the only place that I would consider it an option would be at the Grecian Pillar Apartments. We will be back. Just perfect.

We were very disappointed in the house which is very old, small and in need of updates and maintenance. There are no window coverings in the kitchen, living and laundry despite having a park in view, and one of the doors to outside doesn't lock (just a flimsy screen door locked). The beds were comfortable but there was no ability to hang clothes or unpack with no coat hangers provided, no drawers and an inability to open cupboards in one of the rooms due to bed size. Many basics were not up to standard which caused inconvenience (no laundry basket, only one small towel rail in bathroom, hot water only washing machine, kitchen plug doesn't fit so sink empties etc). Being peak season we expected prices to be elevated however we believe hosts are obligated to ensure a certain standard in order to charge those prices. We've stayed at a huge number of Airbnbs with no issues but we felt like we'd been taken advantage of at this one and cancelled our last night to leave early.

Nice comfortable house for a beach getaway. We loved that it was pet friendly and the large secure yard was a big plus. Kitchen appliances are good quality, comfortable beds. Peaceful location only a quick drive or 15-20 minutes walk from town/the beach.
