Great value for money, and ideal location. We had a couple of issues with the shower, which were quickly rectified by the owner and handy man! Resolved very quickly so no complaints at all.

We had such a wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we booked, communication with the host was absolutely fantastic — quick responses, clear instructions, and always friendly and accommodating. It made everything so easy and stress-free. The place itself was exactly as described (if not better!). It was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home — cozy, welcoming, and perfect for relaxing after a long day at work. You can tell the host really cares about making guests feel comfortable. We were especially grateful that we were able to stay longer than we originally planned. The host was incredibly understanding and flexible, which made a huge difference for us and was so appreciated. Overall, a 5-star experience in every way. Great place to stay. Everything was clean. And the place is spacious. They have an air fryer and microwave which allowed us to cook a simple dinner, great bonus for our stay. One thing worth noting is that the aircon is in the living room facing the two bedrooms. There was no air con in the bedrooms. All in all it was a great stay!

A great stay, the apartment was a lot bigger than I expected and a huge bath tub! Used the very limited gym, the pool and hot tub were great and very quiet. A tiny bit more admin than your usual Airbnb booking as Regional Escapes operate through air bnb, so had to input my details again onto their website prior to checkin.

We had a fantastic stay in Belmont with our fur baby! The house is in a great location, very modern and spacious with a really nice backyard area (securely fenced) and spotlessly clean. Check in was super easy, and the hosts are so welcoming and quick to respond. 5 stars all round!

A lovely place to stay for a weekend! Excellent communication, very helpful host, everything you need in a spotless, comfortable place. Felt relaxed as soon as I was inside. Very little noise from the hotel across the room, and the traffic noise was surprisingly not intrusive. Highly recommend!

This is great accomodation for our family of adult Children  with kids. Room for everyone to find their space. Like a mini resort, walk to central shops. Not much further to beach. Sensational pool and sauna along with table tennis … just great space  for  a family catch up. Weather was great  adding to the occasion. All in attendance have signed up for next visit if it is available

My Best Friend and I stayed for a girls weekend and we very much enjoyed our room! The accessibility of the property was great. My girl is an amputee and while she didnt feel the need to use her wheelchair during our stay, the fact that's its been catered to was wonderful. She loved the layout of the bathroom and extra space in the shower so she could stabilise easily on her prosthetic. Check in and check out was very easy and the staff were attentive during our stay if we needed anything or couldn't find something. The shared kitchen space was easy to navigate, and the views were beautiful. Would definitely stay here again!

Booked a similar stay in the same property before, and it is still one of the best deals to get here in Waurn Ponds. This is for the back unit, so it is even quieter than the front. There are 3 bedrooms in the house that are separated far apart (by bathrooms or on different sides of the house), so you don't often hear any noise. The place was always clean with regular daily cleaning and resupply with soap and detergent if needed. The room was spacious with great storage for luggage and clothes. Any issues that come up are promptly addressed by the homeowner. Overall for the price, it is a great place to stay, and I will definitely come back.

Lovely place to stay right in the centre of Geelong. Super close to the CBD. Walking distance to the foreshore and beach. Very cosy, clean and private place to stay. Hosts were super accommodating with us as we were unable to stay on our original dates but helped us to rearrange booking and still get to stay. Highly recommend this accommodation and the Regional Escapes Team.

Lovely unit hidden in Geelong CBD. Close to the beach. Within walking distance to Westfield. My family and i loved it.

The space
With ocean views from the lounge and two of the three bedrooms, you can relax and enjoy the surrounds all year round. Open plan lounge/dining/kitchen make it a terrific destination for a family holiday. Features include sheltered rear deck and quiet bush setting on a large block with plenty of room for kids to play.

It’s a lovely apartment with great ocean view.  The only downside is that it did not provide wifi connection.

We had a comfortable stay at Regional Escapes’ place. The house was clean, well-located, and check-in was smooth. We enjoyed the space and appreciated the overall setup. However, a few things to note for future guests:
	•	We misread the advert and didn’t pack any towels or bedding — something to keep in mind, as these aren’t provided. It might be helpful for that to be made even clearer in the listing.
	•	We were hoping to use the BBQ, but it was quite dirty and sticky, so unfortunately not usable during our stay.
	•	One thing we really missed was WiFi — it would be a great addition for guests needing to stay connected.

Other than that, it was a solid stay and a good base for exploring the area.

Beautiful place, private, nice view, filled with all the essentials. The area is perfect for a getaway and so gorgeous. 
Only critique is the windows were quite dirty which hindered the view, and some missing fly screens in the bedroom. Apart from that a beautiful stay and well worth it!
