Walk Through The Home With Us
As you step inside, you're greeted by beautiful original timber flooring that sets the tone for the home's warm and inviting feel. Just off the entryway, you’ll find Bedroom 1 to the left and Bedroom 2 to the right - both boasting high ceilings and lovely heritage features.
Continue through and you’ll arrive at the heart of the home: the open living, dining, and kitchen area. The living room is tucked to the left in an elongated layout, offering a comfortable sofa, two occasional chairs, a smart TV, and a split system for heating and cooling. Period ceiling details add an elegant touch to the space. The dining area, situated centrally between the living room and kitchen, seats six and enjoys natural light from both ends of the room thanks to well-placed windows. It’s a great spot to share meals or catch up over a glass of wine. The kitchen carries subtle nods to the home’s heritage, especially around the stove and oven, while offering everything you need for a comfortable stay—coffee maker, microwave, kettle, toaster, and ample bench space. The coffee maker is a Kmart Pod Machine which is compatible with Nespresso Pods. Please Note: Pods are not provided, you will need to bring your own.
Toward the rear of the home, you'll find Bedroom 3, the laundry, and the property's only toilet. The laundry includes a washing machine and other essentials, and it also doubles as a practical space for your furry friends to rest if they’re indoor pets.
Back at the front of the house, Bedroom 1 features a spacious king bed, high ceilings, beautiful period details, and a wardrobe to unpack into. Bedroom 2 offers a queen bed, built-in wardrobe, and a handy desk—ideal for those on a work trip. Bedroom 3, located at the rear, includes a double bed, wardrobe, and a large window overlooking the backyard.
The recently renovated main bathroom is located conveniently between Bedrooms 1 and 2 and the main living area. It offers a fresh, modern feel with a shower-over-bath and vanity. The toilet is separate and positioned off the laundry for added practicality.
Step outside to a generously sized backyard—perfect for letting kids or dogs stretch their legs. A mature lemon tree adds a lovely touch, and guests are welcome to pick fruit when in season. While the garage is not accessible, guests can open the back gate and park off-street in the sealed driveway for added convenience.

Guest access
You will have entire access to the home. The garage is locked from guest use.
Keys will be placed in a secure key safe located at the property before your arrival. 12 hours prior to your check-in details will be sent out with specific details on the location of the key safe and code. You will not need to come to our office to collect.View More

A beautiful cottage that was very clean and well presented. The backyard with covered deck and scenic lemon tree attracting local birds.. so wonderful. Cons: the property<br/>Is not fully finished off and there were spiders around all windows. A little more fine polishing would make it truly shine. But a lovely stay, and (almost) perfect for Pets. The team at Regional Escapes were extremely helpful and responsive and we enjoyed our stay. A lovely little cottage with many original period features, located in a great spot in Geelong West. Close to everything -right on Shannon Avenue and a short walk to vibrant Pakington Street. Close to shops, supermarkets, cafes, waterfront, train station. Off street parking. A bonus was having a great, secure yard for our dog. Communication was prompt. Great convenient place for your getaway in Geelong.
