The "Blue Budgie" studio is situated on the first floor. The room comprises a Queen Bed, an Air Conditioner and a Smart TV fit with Free Wifi (No Free Air Channels). It also features a Kitchenette with microwave, bar fridge, toaster and kettle. The Ensuite Bathroom has a shower, toilet, and vanity. The Room has private access to a small Patio fit with a seating area where your pooch can catch a breath of fresh air here or out through the common Alfresco on the same floor.

The property is located on Thornhill Road in the suburb of Highton, just a 15-minute drive from Geelong CBD and a 5-minute drive to Waurn Ponds, where you can find the Deakin Campus and Epworth Hospital. The Local shops, a 3-minute drive away, have many places to get your groceries and grab a bite to eat, including some of our favourites being Gusto’s café, Malee’s Thai Highton, and Harvey’s of Highton (fruit and vegetable store).
Getting Around
If you’re not bringing your own vehicle, public transport via the local bus network is accessible a two-minute, 170-meter walk from the property. Ubers are also readily available in this area.

Great place to stay. Clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Easy communication with the host about the place and a convenient location. Would happily stay again. Quiet small room, nice bathroom and outdoor area. Room was clean but had a mouldy smell which seems to come from the air con. The blind was broken and did not stay up and rolls down when you go outside making it difficult to get back inside. There is no TV antenna which was my biggest disappointment as we could not watch free to air TV. Otherwise the room was clean and was easy to check in - if there were a tv antenna I would stay again in the future a great little room. fantastic location. my only issue was the dog fur and dirty sliding doors. other than that, a great place to stay. I was there for 9 nights. definitely recommend Jonathan
