ROOM FIVE DETAILS
The "Echidna" Family room is the sole room located on the second floor, up two half flights of stairs. The suite features a separate kid’s bedroom with a single bunk bed, which can be closed off from the rest of the suite. Making it easy to settle the little ones for the night and sneak away for quite movie time with your partner on the Smart TV fitted with Free Wifi (No Free Air Channels). The Main room features a King-Bed fit with lush linen and bedside tables with lamps. The Ensuite has built-in robes, a shower, a toilet, and a vanity. The room also hosts a round dining table for four and a Kitchenette with microwave, bar fridge, toaster and kettle. Beside the dining area, you can step out onto your private balcony which looks onto Thornhill Rd. The space is kept comfortable by the Split-System Air Conditioner.

The property is located on Thornhill Road in the suburb of Highton, just a 15-minute drive from Geelong CBD and a 5-minute drive to Waurn Ponds, where you can find the Deakin Campus and Epworth Hospital. The Local shops, a 3-minute drive away, have many places to get your groceries and grab a bite to eat, including some of our favourites being Gusto’s café, Malee’s Thai Highton, and Harvey’s of Highton (fruit and vegetable store).
Getting Around
If you’re not bringing your own vehicle, public transport via the local bus network is accessible a two-minute, 170-meter walk from the property. Ubers are also readily available in this area.

Amenities
It was a good place to stay Great host and nice clean room. Great value accommodation. As described. However, the oven was not working while we were there, in case you plan to use the communal kitchen. Great communication from host.
