ROOM TWO DETAILS
The "Quokka" Studio is one of the largest rooms offered at Highton Accommodation and is situated on the ground floor. It comprises an open Bedroom and Living Area, Ensuite and Small Courtyard/Side Run. The open area includes a Queen bed with bedside tables fit with lamps. Up a few steps to the side of the bed Is the sleek ensuite comprising a shower, toilet and vanity.
The studio also features a round dining table and a living area with a two-seater couch looking onto the Smart TV fit with Free Wifi (No Free Air Channels). The space is kept comfortable by the Split-System Air Conditioner.
Alongside the Living space is the kitchenette, which entails a bar fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and sink. Out the side door, there is a private side run where your pets can get some fresh air.

The property is located on Thornhill Road in the suburb of Highton, just a 15-minute drive from Geelong CBD and a 5-minute drive to Waurn Ponds, where you can find the Deakin Campus and Epworth Hospital. The Local shops, a 3-minute drive away, have many places to get your groceries and grab a bite to eat, including some of our favourites being Gusto’s café, Malee’s Thai Highton, and Harvey’s of Highton (fruit and vegetable store).
Getting Around
If you’re not bringing your own vehicle, public transport via the local bus network is accessible a two-minute, 170-meter walk from the property. Ubers are also readily available in this area.

This place is value for money and you get what you pay for. It suited my needs. <br/>With 8 units, parking can be busy, and you may not get a park on the property or in front of it, but you find a spot within 100 metres.<br/>I was overwhelmed by the smell of bleach when I arrived so had to open the windows and doors straight away to get the smell out, but the bathrooms were spotless.<br/>The small courtyard was not very pleasant with dog food and woodchip all over the pathway. I was able to find a hose and clean it up a bit so I could walk outside without standing on something. <br/>You have to enter a six digit code to get in the front door and a different six digit code to get in your room. I found this a pain as I was coming and going often. <br/>The air-conditioning unit only stays on for a few hours so if it's cold or hot, you will have to continually get up through the night to turn it back on.<br/>I did not use the kitchen as it was very dirty and was occupied most the time. It’s super simple to access and the amenities are good, I would visit this stay again while visiting Geelong. Great place to stay, great coffee and restaurants close by, plenty of parking, friendly hosts. Highly recommended.
