ROOM TWO DETAILS
The "Quokka" Studio is one of the largest rooms offered at Highton Accommodation and is situated on the ground floor. It comprises an open Bedroom and Living Area, Ensuite and Small Courtyard/Side Run. The open area includes a Queen bed with bedside tables fit with lamps. Up a few steps to the side of the bed Is the sleek ensuite comprising a shower, toilet and vanity.
The studio also features a round dining table and a living area with a two-seater couch looking onto the Smart TV fit with Free Wifi (No Free Air Channels). The space is kept comfortable by the Split-System Air Conditioner.
Alongside the Living space is the kitchenette, which entails a bar fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and sink. Out the side door, there is a private side run where your pets can get some fresh air.

The property is located on Thornhill Road in the suburb of Highton, just a 15-minute drive from Geelong CBD and a 5-minute drive to Waurn Ponds, where you can find the Deakin Campus and Epworth Hospital. The Local shops, a 3-minute drive away, have many places to get your groceries and grab a bite to eat, including some of our favourites being Gusto’s café, Malee’s Thai Highton, and Harvey’s of Highton (fruit and vegetable store).
Getting Around
If you’re not bringing your own vehicle, public transport via the local bus network is accessible a two-minute, 170-meter walk from the property. Ubers are also readily available in this area.

great value for money, nice to have the runway outside for the doggies. Walls are quite thin so can hear other guests in the hallways easily but otherwise was a fantastic stay and great value for money. This was great place to stay for my trip. Would stay here again! i stayed in the Quokka pet friendly room.. personally, I had a terrible experience. The pictures don't replicate the quality of the room. the rooms 'side run' was full of dog 💩, used puppy mats and other rubbish. the furniture was in poor condition and the toilet seat was broken 🥴 Then finding white-tail spiders 🕷 next to the bed. The house isn't soundproofed, so I could hear every movement and every conversation of the people upstairs above me. i was woken by a woman raising her voice at someone in the room above me🙄. The split system literally is automatically turned off by a power switch every 2 hours.. so be prepared to wake up freezing cold in the colder nights throughout the night or boiling hot in the hot summer nights as this isnt statedbin the listing. The managers were polite and responsive throughout the ordeal. I did terminate my stay and found a new AirBnB. I most definitely wouldn't return here again but would definitely deal with the managers again. Nice apartment with a professional host. Everything you need is there and it is placed in a silent neighborhood.<br/>Was a great stay for a Melbourne weekend, without beeing in the city hussle
