Our boys stayed here for a work trip and thoroughly enjoyed their stay! Comfortable central location, great for an extended stay. Shocking to have sewage flow into the house and spew into the yard out of two outlets. I looked back on reviews & found someone else experienced late 2024 but going by the dried up paper near one of pipes has happened more recently. Booked to take dogs but couldn’t leave them in yard with raw sewage. One guest went to local toilet block but that was putrid so changed plans & went on a road trip. The plumber due by lunch but on return about 3.30 plumber hadn’t been & didn’t til after 5, we understood out of their control but after returning we just wanted to stay in & have facilities. All water use pushed out sewage. Plumber found old damaged pipes. We tried to enter from back door after parking in the rear, the door was jammed shut & needs attention. From first entering there was a slight odour at rear of house that guessing now was the backed up pipes! We tried to vac before leaving & that didn’t work! Positives- spacious bedrooms & “The Local” cafe is divine L

Quaint Cottage,but.....
The cottage was in a great area close to shops and cafes. The bathroom, laundry and kitchen were great. The floors could do with some sealing of holes, the outside of the house could do with some repair work and painting. the same with the outdoor decks. I'm not sure how legal or safe the deadlocks only on the external doors go, but they were annoying that you couldn't just close the doors.
