Walk Through The Home With Us
Arrive at Cliff Edge and park easily in the gravel driveway, then follow the path down toward the front door. Even before you step inside, the home's elevated position above the Great Ocean Road gives you a teaser of what’s to come—through the windows, you’ll catch glimpses of breathtaking ocean views spilling in from the main living space.
Enter on the top level of this spacious two-story retreat and step into a beautifully open-plan living and dining area. Framed by expansive windows and soaring ceilings, the ocean views stretch endlessly across the horizon, creating a stunning backdrop from nearly every angle. Whether you're gathered on the couch or preparing a meal in the kitchen, the sea is always in sight.
The main living room is welcoming and airy, with generous seating arranged around a TV and a centrally located woodfire heater—perfect for cosy winter evenings. A split system also keeps the space cool and comfortable during summer. It’s an ideal gathering spot to relax, reconnect, or simply unwind with a book and a view.
The dining area features a large table that seats up to 10 guests, perfect for shared meals or long, laughter-filled dinners. Just behind it, the kitchen is bright and functional, fitted with all the essentials including a fridge, oven, cooktop, microwave, toaster, and kettle. The surrounding windows invite in natural light and touch of greenery, giving the space a calming feel. A central island bench with four stools makes this a great hub for breakfast, casual drinks, or prepping meals while still being part of the conversation.
Step outside to enjoy not one but two generous balconies. One includes a BBQ for relaxed coastal cook-ups, while the other, positioned off the dining and living area, offers outdoor seating—perfect for alfresco dining or soaking in those sunset skies.
Also on the upper level is the luxurious master suite. This room is spacious and serene, featuring a queen bed, walk-in robe with ample hanging space, a split system for year-round comfort, and an ensuite that’s partially open to the bedroom. The bath sits perfectly to take in ocean views while you soak—pure indulgence.
Nearby, the laundry room is large and practical, equipped with a washer, dryer, sink, ironing facilities, drying rack, and outdoor access to a full-sized clothesline. A separate toilet is located just off the hallway for added convenience.
Make your way downstairs to discover the rest of the home’s sleeping quarters and an additional living space. Bedrooms 2 and 3 each offer queen-sized beds, ceiling fans, built-in robes, and lovely ocean views. Bedrooms 4 and 5 are designed with families in mind—each room includes two sets of bunk beds, built-in storage, and plenty of space for kids to relax or play indoors.
Two bathrooms serve the lower level, each positioned at opposite ends to service two bedrooms each. Both include a toilet, vanity, and shower, with one also featuring a second bath—ideal for families with younger children.
The second living room downstairs is a comfortable retreat with lounge seating and calming views of the garden or ocean. Another split system ensures comfort no matter the season. This space is perfect for kids to hang out or for a quiet moment away from the main hub upstairs.
From the downstairs level, sliding doors lead to a decked outdoor area, which can also be accessed from several of the bedrooms. While the lower garden is mostly decorative, there’s a lovely shaded grassy area near the entrance that’s ideal for enjoying a quiet coffee, reading a book, or playing small outdoor games with the kids.
With central heating throughout the entire home, split systems in both living areas and the master, and thoughtful design touches at every turn, Cliff Edge is a truly comfortable and inviting space to stay—no matter the season. Perfect for large families or groups, it comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests across five spacious bedrooms.
A staff and guest favourite for good reason, Cliff Edge offers a rare blend of space, comfort, and breathtaking natural beauty. Whether you're planning a summer beach holiday or a cosy winter escape, it's the perfect base for making special memories on the Surf Coast.

Free parking garage on premises
We had a such a wonderful stay with regional escapes. There was plenty of space for our big family reunion. The views were amazing. We did see a review complaining about construction but luckily we stayed over the long weekend so it did not affect our stay. Check in was smooth, communication prompt, house was well equipped. Parking was a bit limited but we managed. Overall we’d definitely come back and recommend to family and friends. Thank you regional escapes for having us. Communication was good but property needs cleaning touch ups to warrant the price they charge. Nothing major though. If you’re looking for a nice and quiet holiday home, skip this at all cost. There is a huge construction site next door which starts loud drilling at 7am! Even on weekends.
The issues for this rental started when the host insists on registration on a third party portal - outside of airbnb. The address and check in instructions could only be accessed on the portal- very confusing for guests.
Heating was disabled throughout the house despite very very cold nights. A few guests left after night 1 as the host did not fix the heating despite multiple requests.
Most concerningly was the power went out during the day on Sunday. We reached out for help and received no response. Most of the 14 guests chose to leave the house as we didn’t know when power would be back on.
Power only came back on the following day. All of food for dinner and breakfast was ruined
Best part was the host said we contacted “out of hours”.
Do not book here. Views are obstructed with the insane construction!
