Where does one start. Now, what I’m going to write is not a complaint but observations. On entering the house, it had a stale smell, probably been locked up for a while; on the surface it looked clean but a little tired. The window in the lower bed room, I had to force open. I went upstairs to the bedroom loft and found the hand rail was sticky (my partner cleaned it). The kitchen benches clean, some coffee stains on a wall were almost cleaned off, the fridge clean inside and out except for the top of the fridge and the items on it are covered in grime. Do you want me to keep going? I could tell you about the window in the dunny not opening, the badly finished shower or how the three sliding doors that needs a lot of maintenance. Lastly if they were to clean the windows it may make the place sparkle.

A quirky property with a great garden and walking distance to the centre of town and the beach which made it really convenient for us. Property was as described and the photos - perhaps a touch smaller than expected but that was maybe just our expectation - plenty of room for our family of four.
As with other reviews there is probably excessive clutter which collects dust and gives the impression of being unclean. Some of the things (e.g. spare laundry) could be put away out of sight.
Found the beds (futon-style) and sofa/armchair fairly uncomfortable but that could be personal preference.
Overall and interesting property, in a great location and worth a stay for the price we paid, but would likely look elsewhere if staying at Barwon Heads again.

Badminton joy! Lovely property, wonderful garden and great location. We would say that the price was a bit high given the beds were more like sofa beds but the rest of the property was lovely and easy to use.
