The property couldn’t be more central to Geelong’s CBD, located at the corner of Malop St and Moorabool St. This early 20th-century building features Greek Revival details, from ceiling medallions and intricate cornices to columns and the bold rounded corner on the façade, which is typical of 19th-century Renaissance Revival architecture.
With one free car park included, you can park next door and enter through the secure double doors of the apartment building. You can choose to get your steps in via the stairs or take the vintage yet well-maintained lift to your floor, where you’ll enter your apartment door fitted with a digital lock for a smooth self-check-in process.
Apartment One comprises two queen bedrooms, a retreat with a sofa bed, a master bathroom, laundry, and a spacious open living, dining, and kitchen area.
As you step into the beautifully spacious dining and living area, you’ll find a six-seater dining table, a plush L-shaped couch, and a chaise positioned in front of the Smart TV and Air Conditioner, which keeps the apartment comfortable.
The kitchen is well-equipped with crockery, cutlery, and appliances, including a dishwasher, fridge, electric stove top, oven, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. The L'OR BARISTA coffee machine brews L'OR single-serve coffee and espresso capsules and *Nespresso Original machine capsules. Please Note: Pods are not provided, you will need to bring your own.

The wet areas are located towards the rear of the apartment. The laundry features a trough, a top loader washing machine, and a clothes horse. The main bathroom is to the left, which opens into a grand double vanity with a large mirror. Then, a couple of steps lead up into the rest of the bathroom, which hosts a shower, toilet, and spa bath.
As you enter the apartment hallway, Bedroom Two awaits, complete with a built-in robe, king bed, bedside tables with lamps, and a reading space of a lounge chair and coffee table with lamp.
To the right of the hallway, you enter the Master Bedroom Retreat, which comprises a large built-in robe, study desk, two bean bags and a sofa bed. Opening the options of the apartment to have either two lounges or three bedrooms, whichever you desire.
Adjoining the master bedroom includes a queen bed, bedside tables with lamps and a study desk, sharing the robe in the retreat. Being that the Master Retreat is on the right side of the building, you can enjoy the views of palm trees, heritage clock towers and the busy streets below.

Overall a great affordable accommodation Great location and pleasant responsive hosts. Disappointing lack of quality control with sofa bed linen and general clea I spent a weekend in Geelong with my wife and daughter, and this flat was the perfect base for exploring the Bellarine Peninsula. It’s in a beautiful old building—a former bank from the early 1900s—right in the middle of the CBD. The flat is huge, with high ceilings, a comfy living area, a good kitchen, and decent-sized bedrooms, plus a second lounge which was a nice bonus. There's dedicated parking next door, and it's just a block from the waterfront and directly across the road from Coles in the Westfield. Great value for money—we’d definitely stay again. Fabulous place! Super clean and beautiful old school character! Loved it
