Description
Welcome to Sandpiper. An original 80s beach house tucked in behind the Ti-Trees and Sand dunes in Barwon Heads. Walk thru the dunes and only 150m from the home you are at 13th Beach. The home is not pretentious and allows you to just unwind and enjoy your time near the beach. The kids will love the in-ground trampoline, putting green and half basketball court. The adults are not forgotten with pool table and plenty of outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy a local wine.
The space
Sandpiper is situated a few minute’s drive from the centre of Barwon Heads and makes an ideal getaway for extended family groups, couples and wedding groups to enjoy time together.
The Ground floor at Sandpiper has a large living area with couches, TV, WIFI, pool table and bar area, overlooking the outdoor area. On this level there are 4 bedrooms. These bedrooms are supported by two bathrooms and toilets, and a second small living area with couch and TV. A fully equipped laundry is on this level.
On the first floor is the master bedroom suite, which includes king size bed, parents retreat with television, walk in robe and main bathroom. There is also a toilet and hand basin separate from the main bathroom. Also on this level is a large kitchen dining living area with log fire and electric heating, the house is well heated throughout with electric heating and air conditioning. A small dining/sitting area is off the main living areas, an ideal spot to play games or cards if the rest of your group is in the main living area watching TV.
The 6th bedroom is located in the tower with views across the Ti-Trees surrounding the property. This room has air conditioning however can still get hot with all the glass so we recommend keeping blinds closed if the weather is going to be warm to control the temp in the room.
All up, there is 6 bedrooms, 3 living areas, 3 bathrooms and an abundance of outdoor space. In total the property can accommodate up to 14 guests comfortably. There is plenty of off-street parking with enough for 5-6 cars in the driveway easily.
All linen and towels provided for your stay. Just bring Beach Towels.
PLEASE NOTE – The property is a well-loved and used family home and with that comes wear and tear as would be expected for home that was built in the 80s. It is not a sparkling brand new property. This is a home for family and friends to come together in one place and create lasting memories.

Great home for a large group
The property is very spacious. Kids loved the mini golf, basketball and trampoline. We were unable to use the bbq as it has definitely has better days. It is a well loved property (as described in listing), but comfortably fit everyone and we had a great time. A

Great spaces for a large group
We had 4 families staying and it worked really well in terms of space. Lovely back yard, excellent layout and having 3 large bathrooms to share was brilliant. Fully stocked kitchen and a great open plan living space was so handy and made our stay relaxing and social. Loved the pool table, trampoline and basketball court for the teenagers (and adults!). The fire pit was fantastic, great TVs and comfortable beds and linen.
The listing was accurate when it says it is not a luxury stay. Very tired and worn furniture and blinds. Couldn’t sit on a number of spaces on couches. Many blinds were broken and windows did not open. But given we knew that, we were happy to accept those disappointments due to the lovely family time the house afforded us. Lovely quiet spot, a very pleasant walk to the beach or shops. We had a ball!
