The "Galah" Studio is a generous room on the third floor, up three half flights of stairs.
The Studio comprises a Bedroom with a King bed, built-in robes, a study desk, Air Conditioner and a Smart TV fitted with Free Wifi (No Free Air Channels). A Dining area with a four-seater dining table in front of the Kitchenette which entails a microwave, bar fridge, toaster and kettle. And finally, the spacious ensuite bathroom which consists of a shower, a toilet, and a vanity.

The property is located on Thornhill Road in the suburb of Highton, just a 15-minute drive from Geelong CBD and a 5-minute drive to Waurn Ponds, where you can find the Deakin Campus and Epworth Hospital. The Local shops, a 3-minute drive away, have many places to get your groceries and grab a bite to eat, including some of our favourites being Gusto’s café, Malee’s Thai Highton, and Harvey’s of Highton (fruit and vegetable store).
Getting Around
If you’re not bringing your own vehicle, public transport via the local bus network is accessible a two-minute, 170-meter walk from the property. Ubers are also readily available in this area.

Amenities
The room is big, clean and very private. I will definitely recommend and stay again. Nice stay, felt comfortable, good value. The room was pretty clean though not spotless, shared area was a bit dirty but I guess not the hosts fault (probably just depends on other guests). I was a bit concerned that I would wake up cold in the night as the heater had a 2 hour time limit but I was fine. The window shade sails were quite noisy in the wind. Ample parking. I had a nice stay! Property was quite easy to find and strategically located near my destination. Facilities are great. Bathroom could be cleaner.
