Summary:

This four bedroom house located in Hamlyn Heights, a few minutes from the Geelong Ring Rd and a 10 minute drive from Geelong CBD, is perfect for a family of up to 8, traveling for work, or visiting family in Geelong. Whether it be popping down for a week or relocating for a few months for work or to try out the area.

The Space:

The floor plan is laid out over two levels, with three bedrooms up top and one bedroom down below followed by the living areas. When entering the property, to the left you have the lounge room which includes a play area to the side and an air conditioner to keep it cool or cozy, furnishings consist of an armchair, four-seater couch and Tv, there is also free WIFI available. To the right of the entrance, we have the kitchen and dining area, which hosts a six-seater dining table and a few options to keep the area cool or warm, including a fan and air conditioner. The kitchen is fully equipped for your stay with an oven, gas stove top, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, expresso pod machine and plenty of cutlery, crockery and utensils to cook up a storm.
The dining room leads out to the alfresco area which can be closed off with pull down fly screens and contains a six-seater outdoor bar table and small Webber.
Outside, along with the alfresco area, there is a spacious turfed back yard as well as a large front yard with room for 3-4 cars off street when opening the roller door to carport.

Heading back into the property, to the bedrooms, straight across from the entrance we have the first bedroom which hosts a queen bed and dresser. This bedroom is situated next to the main bathroom which includes a bathtub, shower and vanity. There is also a separate toilet off the internal laundry which includes a washer and vanity with trough.
Heading up the stairs off the dining room, there are three bedrooms, serviced by another powder room which includes a toilet and vanity. All three bedrooms include a queen bed and wardrobe, including the master bedroom. The master also contains a TV, and walk through wardrobe to an ensuite which consists of a shower, vanity and toilet.

Guest Access
Keys will be placed in a secure key safe located at the property before your arrival. 48 hours prior to your check-in details will be sent out with specific details on the location of the key safe and code. You will not need to come to our office to collect. There is access to the carport that has a roller door, and more spaces to park in driveway.

The Neighbourhood
The property is located at the end of Anakie Rd in the suburb of Hamlyn Heights, a few minutes from the Geelong Ring Rd and a 10 min drive from Geelong CBD. Right across the road from Beans Squeeze Ballarat Rd , a 4 minute walk to Edgecombe street playground, and 5 minute drive from Aldi and Woolworths in both Bell Park or Manifold Heights.

Getting Around
If you’re not bringing your own vehicle there is public transport via the local bus network accessible at the end of the street, from Route 25 (Geelong Station – Bell Post Hill), about a 2 min walk from the property. Ubers are also readily available in this area.

We ask that every guest read and understand our booking terms summarised below. Breach of these terms may lead to the cancellation of your booking before or during your stay.

The guest needs to be 25 years of age or over to book the property and accept these terms.

1) Prohibited Activity
– Parties that cause disturbance to neighbours are strictly prohibited during your stay. Events, functions or visitors can be permitted upon prior request on initial booking. All our homes have noise monitoring devices installed. These devices do NOT record conversations and only monitor the db level in the room.
– Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly and not thrown on property grounds. Failure to do so will result in extra cleaning fees.

2) Departure
– We ask that you leave the property reasonably tidy and secure on departure. This includes washing of dishes or stacking the dishwasher and turning it on as you leave, rubbish placed in bins, all personal belongings removed from the property, securing windows and doors, turning off heating/cooling and turning off all lights.
– Please note that we will charge additional cleaning fees should you choose to leave the property in an unclean or untidy manner.

3) Cancellations
– Please ensure you read and understand the cancellation policy once you have booked. We provide free cancellation with a full refund within 24 hours of booking regardless of the policy, allowing you time to acknowledge and understand the terms of your booking. After 24 hours the policy you have booked is now applicable. All refunds after this period will incur a 5% administration fee on the amount collected to cover the processing of the refund.

4) Damages, missing items or unexpected cleaning
– All breakages and damages must be reported to Regional Escapes. Failure to report them will likely result in an extra charge applicable to the cost of the damaged items. No contents are to be removed from the property. Charges apply if an item/s is taken and not returned.
– Damaged, torn or stained linen, sheets, towels, donnas, quilts, pillows and couches will be charged at the applicable replacement cost
– If extra cleaning is required this is charged at a per-hour rate with public holiday and weekend surcharges applicable.
– If there are any charges applicable after your stay we will communicate these with you including providing photographic evidence for your reference.

5) Pets
– Pets are NOT permitted at this property

7) Complaints
– If there are any issues upon arrival, please contact us via the booking channel for assistance.
– We will require photos should you wish to claim reimbursement for any issues reported
– We will do our best to rectify any issues promptly to ensure an enjoyable stay. A high-level guest experience is of the highest priority for our entire team.
