The Space:
The floor plan is laid out over two levels. A master retreat upstairs and all other spaces on the ground floor. The carport is detached from the house and located at the rear of the property and accessed via a laneway.
Approaching the property from the front it is charming whilst also unassuming. The black iron fence and Victorian façade with white weatherboards and landscaped garden set the tone of the beauty that lies behind the front door.
You access the property via the solid black front door using the digital lock and step into a grand hallway on the west side of the property featuring leadlight windows, original arches and soaring ceiling heights. The front section of the home features three bedrooms, the main bathroom and a separate powder room. The second bedroom is located at the front of the house and features a King bed, occasional chair and robe, the third bedroom is next along with two King singles, occasional chair and robe followed by the fourth bedroom with a Queen bed, decorative fireplace and study nook. Between bedrooms three and four you will find the powder room and main bathroom with large walk-in shower and free-standing bath.
Heading further down the hallway you will come to a set of stairs that take you to the master retreat located on the first floor. The master retreat features another study nook, breakfast bar with mini-fridge, walk-through closet, ensuite bathroom with toilet and large walk-in shower and large open floorplan with reading chairs, Smart TV and King bed overlooking the balcony perfect for a morning coffee or afternoon wine.
Completing the property, located at the rear and on the ground floor is the open-plan living/dining and kitchen space. The kitchen is chef’s delight with a large, uninterrupted island stone bench, induction cooking, electric oven and dishwasher. The kitchen is equipped with all you will need to whip up a gourmet meal or simple cheese platter including a walk-in pantry and Nespresso coffee pod machine. There is plenty of seating with an 8-seater dining table, four bar stools, couch and occasional chairs. A large Smart TV is securely mounted on the wall in the living zone. Sliding glass doors can be opened up at the rear to connect you with the outdoor space.
The rear yard is north-facing however is protected by the surrounding garden and buildings to provide a great spot to enjoy the afternoon sun.
Additional features of the property include free high-speed internet, heating and cooling in every bedroom and main living room and a front loader washer and separate dryer located in the walk-in pantry.
Guest Access
48 hours prior to your check-in your unique code for the digital lock will be sent out with specific details on the location of the property and how to access it. You will not need to come to our office to collect.
The Neighbourhood
The property is located in Sydney Ave, Geelong. You will be within walking distance to all major local amenities including shops, cafés and restaurants. About a 10 min walk will have you in the centre of Geelong CBD.
Getting Around
If you’re not bringing your own vehicle there is public transport via the local bus network accessible at the end of the street, about a 2 min walk from the property. Ubers are also readily available in this area.

We ask that every guest read and understand our booking terms summarised below. Breach of these terms may lead to the cancellation of your booking before or during your stay.
The guest needs to be 25 years of age or over to book the property and accept these terms.
1) Prohibited Activity
– Parties that cause disturbance to neighbours are strictly prohibited during your stay. Events, functions or visitors can be permitted upon prior request on initial booking. All our homes have noise monitoring devices installed. These devices do NOT record conversations and only monitor the db level in the room.
– Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly and not thrown on property grounds. Failure to do so will result in extra cleaning fees.
2) Departure
– We ask that you leave the property reasonably tidy and secure on departure. This includes washing of dishes or stacking the dishwasher and turning it on as you leave, rubbish placed in bins, all personal belongings removed from the property, securing windows and doors, turning off heating/cooling and turning off all lights.
– Please note that we will charge additional cleaning fees should you choose to leave the property in an unclean or untidy manner.
3) Cancellations
– Please ensure you read and understand the cancellation policy once you have booked. We provide free cancellation with a full refund within 24 hours of booking regardless of the policy, allowing you time to acknowledge and understand the terms of your booking. After 24 hours the policy you have booked is now applicable. All refunds after this period will incur a 5% administration fee on the amount collected to cover the processing of the refund.
4) Damages, missing items or unexpected cleaning
– All breakages and damages must be reported to Regional Escapes. Failure to report them will likely result in an extra charge applicable to the cost of the damaged items. No contents are to be removed from the property. Charges apply if an item/s is taken and not returned.
– Damaged, torn or stained linen, sheets, towels, donnas, quilts, pillows and couches will be charged at the applicable replacement cost
– If extra cleaning is required this is charged at a per-hour rate with public holiday and weekend surcharges applicable.
– If there are any charges applicable after your stay we will communicate these with you including providing photographic evidence for your reference.
5) Pets
– Pets are NOT permitted at this property

– If there are any issues upon arrival, please contact us via the booking channel for assistance.
– We will require photos should you wish to claim reimbursement for any issues reported
– We will do our best to rectify any issues promptly to ensure an enjoyable stay. A high-level guest experience is of the highest priority for our entire team.
